Circa 1810 Ex Herman Dean Collection
This is one of my favorite pistols from the Lyman Collection. It features a beautifully sculpted tiger maple half stock with original surface, cast brass mounts, and an unmarked, American made 9 3/8 inch full octagon cast brass barrel in .48cal. The butt is faceted in an octagon sided shape to conform to the octagon cast brass butt cap. The pistol features a high quality roller-frizzen lock marked "London Warranted" All mounts are cast brass save for the barrel key escutcheons and the thumbpiece which are German silver. The pistol measures 14 1/4 inches. **SOLD**
